QUALITY CELL:

Background of Employment Generation & Marketing Mission

Employment Generation & Marketing Mission (EGMM), Dept. of Rural Development, Govt. of AP works in a focused manner to provide one job for every poor family who are rural and tribal youth of AP. EGMM aims towards delivering EWRC (English Work Readiness & Computers) training program with the Quality intervention in the EGMM process. To bring in effectiveness and consistency in the program delivery, it is envisaged to setup a Quality Cell

Objective:

  • To formalize the way the trainings are conducted, in order to standardize the outcome i.e. quality of youth.
  • Quality Evaluation is the process provides a framework for understanding the links between inputs, activities and outputs. For assessing any training program process and control program outcomes this activity will better serve the purpose.

Vision:

  • To ensure the high quality and customized training to meet the industry needs
  • Training delivery mechanism should be effective in order to impart Knowledge, Skills and Attitude.
  • To counsel the youth in order to assess their attributes & aspirations to provide the suitable jobs

Mission:

  • To set up the process and to continuous upgrade of the training content in consultation with the industry
  • To prepare the suitable counsel module to assess the aptitude and ability of the youth
  • To set up the process and ensure the effective delivery of the training programs, infrastructure, assessment methods of the trainers and trainees 

Training Centre Visits:

  • JDMs / APMs shall visit the training centers with EGMM prescribed assessment sheet and evaluate the training center and then submit the reports to management.
  • JDM should visit the training center with EGMM prescribed assessment sheet and evaluate the training center twice in a month.
  • APM should visit the training center with EGMM prescribed assessment sheet and evaluate the training center once in a week.
  • The Quality Executive / EGMM state representative shall visit the training center with the same evaluation report of JDM / APM at any point of time after 15 days of course commencement with not any kind of intimation. (EWRC trainings should be at least 60 days)

Evaluation:
Training centre will be evaluated based on the given Quality cell parameters and ratings will be generated accordingly.

Evaluation will be of two categories:

  • District Level monitoring areas (JDM / APM Level)
  • Center Level monitoring areas (Center Trainers Level)

Grading:
Grading of the training center will be based on the rating submitted by the Quality Executive after evaluating the training centre. The same Quality Report will be cross verified randomly by the EGMM Management if required.

Link to Career Growth:

Individual and team (Center) performance would be linked to the Quality rating of the respective training Center. These performance indicators would be used by the EGMM Management to identify the next level leaders for upcoming projects as well as helps in career and personal growth.

Focus of the Quality Cell:

  • To ensure the quality in the selection process, induction, training, practical, placements.
  • To upgrade the training methodologies
  • To impart the play way methods in the training programs
  • It’s a continuous learning and facilitating process to the trainers
